Was excited to receive the sample pack from Cedar Valley. The package arrived prior to the scheduled arrival, so that was nice. Well packaged and secure items. Several of the beef jerky items were tasty and the sample sizes were adequate. The trail mix sample was crunchy and fresh tasting. One of the beef jerky samples was rather dry and seemingly maybe overaged. That one was more leathery than anything and hopefully not from older existing stock that wasn't sold but instead used for sampling. The dried seasoned bacon was an interesting idea for a type of jerky, but that selection and choice was not one that I would look to in the future. Overall, the experience was decent and the pricing fare for shipping of the samples ($7.95). I would say the Montreal flavored beef jerky was the most enjoyable of the pack. Thank you.

We do want to better understand your experience with the drier piece you mentioned. All of our jerky is produced in small batches and pulled from the same production runs as our full-size bags. Some of our flavors tend to end up drier than others due to their ingredients, but we are for sure aiming for consistency in regards to dryness levels between flavors, and will continue to make efforts towards this goal.

Great way to introduce yourself to multiple flavor options. With this sample pack I was able to try flavors that I normally wouldn’t get. The bacon is Amazing….Do not hesitate to try it !!!

The Montreal beef jerky was my favorite
I order jerky from several places, have tried hundreds at this point. This jerky is in the top 5. Teriyaki is amazing. The other unique flavors I tried like cowboy butter was also great. Already ordered a full bag of teriyaki!
The Jerky was very tasteful especially the teriyaki and I loved the bacon. Will be ordering more.
